Grey Cup Festival 2024 – Day 5

November 17 marked the final day of the Grey Cup Festival 2024, where the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers faced off to claim the title of 2024 Grey Cup Champion.

We kicked things off at the Lordco Auto Parts Block Party near BC Place, catching WWE Superstar from BC, Chelsea Green who introduced Canadian icon Bif Naked with support from Side One. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, setting the tone for an epic day.

Next, we made our way to the PlayNow Sports Backyard Street Party to see Calgary-born singer-songwriter Devon Cole. Her vibrant energy and candid charm were the perfect warm-up for the big game crowd. Over her one-hour set, she had the audience hooked, winning everyone over one by one. Keep an eye on her—she’s a rising star! (Psst: She’s coming back to Vancouver for her Two Shades Blonder tour on March 16, 2025, at the Biltmore Cabaret!)

By then, the excitement was palpable at the Terry Fox Plaza. Fans decked out in incredible outfits were pouring into the stadium, ready for the game and the highly anticipated Jonas Brothers halftime show. It was a day to remember!
