Billy Idol Debuts New Single “77” Featuring Avril Lavigne
Rock legend Billy Idol is debuting the new single “77” featuring Avril Lavigne from his forthcoming album Dream Into It (due April 25 via Dark Horse Records). The track is accompanied by a Spencer Ramsey-directed animated video; watch/share the video HERE. Idol will be joined by Lavigne for a performance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on April 28.
Dream Into Itis Idol’s first full-length album of new music in over a decade and includes co-writing and performance credits throughout from Idol’s longtime guitarist/collaborator Steve Stevens. The album is produced by Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, blink 182, BØRNS, K. Flay) and includes appearances by Lavigne, Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart of The Kills. Alongside the upcoming album, Idol and Stevens were recently nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025, with inductees to be announced soon. Idol is also set for the premiere of the new documentary film Billy Idol Should Be Dead at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 10. Directed by three-time Grammy-winner Jonas Åkerlund, Billy Idol Should Be Dead is a feature-length documentary tracing the life and career of the punk pioneer turned rock ‘n’ roll icon. Through never-before-seen archival and personal interviews with Idol, his family, peers and collaborators, the documentary digs deep into his emergence as a prototypical punk rocker, his meteoric rise as a global superstar in the MTV era and the myriad of challenges Idol had to overcome to not just survive, but to remain one of the most beloved figures in rock n roll, almost fifty years into his career. Additionally, Idol is returning to the road for It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! Fellow superstar Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will join Idol on all shows. Produced by Live Nation, the run of arenas and amphitheatres kicks off at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix on April 30 and includes stops at an array of storied venues includingNew York’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD and more. Metallica M72 World Tour 2027 North American Shows Announced
Metallica has confirmed a series of new North American stadium dates that extend the band’s massive M72 World Tour into 2027. Having played 99 shows in 26 countries since its April 2023 kick-off, the Live Nation-promoted M72 World Tour will resume May 8, 2027 at BC Place in Vancouver – hitting a dozen new cities for the first time on this run throughout the American southwest, midwest and beyond – and will conclude June 19, 2027 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
TICKETS: Tickets for the newly announced shows will be available starting with the Fan Club presales beginning on Monday, September 21 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, September 25 at 10am local time. From its launch in 2023 through its most recent two-night engagement July 3 and 5, 2025 at London Stadium, Metallica’s record-breaking M72 World Tour has been celebrated as among the best of the band’s 40+ years of traversing the globe, with nearly five million members of the Metallica family having attended. Hailed as “an altogether life-affirming experience” (Billboard), “impossible to leave unsatisfied” (Austin Chronicle), “a stone-cold stunner of a show” (Detroit News), and “as tight and furious as Metallica has sounded in ages” (Los Angeles Times), M72 will resume following Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, which will run from October 1, 2026 through March 13, 2027.

Oasis Announce Oasis Live ’27
Oasis have today ended months of feverish speculation with the announcement that they will return to the live stage in 2027. Oasis Live ‘27 will see the band play 38 live shows, visiting Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, US and Ireland. With the exception of homecoming shows in Manchester, the tour will see the band perform in a completely new set of locations from the Oasis Live ‘25 tour. Special guest at all shows will be Richard Ashcroft.

Demand for Oasis Live ’27 is expected to be extremely high, and so a registration process has been put in place to reduce queuing times and organised ticket touting in order to give genuine fans the best possible chance to buy tickets.Registration is open now at www.oasisinet.com.
For the chance to buy tickets, fans must register before Thursday 17 September at 4pm BST /5pm CEST / 8am PT / 11am ET. Fans who are successful will be sent a unique, non-transferable code to access an allocated onsale window. Onsale windows vary by city and will run between Friday 25September and Sunday 27 September. Fans will be informed directly which of the onsale windows they can access, and at what time. The registration process is the only public way to buy tickets for Oasis Live ’27. There will be no general onsale or other public presales outside of this process.This structure has been created to ensure the purchase process is as fair and smooth as possible for Oasis fans.
