Dawes Announce “A Concert for Altadena” with Jenny Lewis, Brandon Flowers, and More
Dawes are stepping up for their hometown. The band announced a benefit concert to support people affected by the Altadena fires that tore through LA at the start of 2025. The show happens January 7 at the Pasadena Civic Center, lining up with the one-year mark of the Eaton Fire.
They’re not doing it alone. Jenny Lewis, Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Jackson Browne, Aloe Blacc, Stephen Stills, Mandy Moore, Brad Paisley, and a long list of friends are set to join them. Ozomatli and Everclear will jump in as hosts. It’s a stacked night, and all for a cause close to the band’s heart.
Dawes shared the news on Instagram, saying the show will raise money for the Altadena Builds Back Foundation, part of the Pasadena Community Foundation. Their goal is simple: help their community recover and rebuild.
