Elevate Music Project Is Back!

Elevate Music Project is back in Vancouver, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best years yet. MRG Live is bringing the annual competition back to the Biltmore Cabaret and the Vogue Theatre, giving local artists a real shot at moving their careers forward. It’s simple math: six nights, twenty-four bands, and one act walking away with the big win.
The format stays true to what fans love. Four preliminary rounds at the Biltmore, one semi-final, and a finale at the Vogue. Each night is scored by a panel of local industry folks who actually know their stuff. The goal stays the same too: put fresh Vancouver talent in front of real audiences and help artists break through. Past years offered prizes like cash, recording time, a Canadian Music Week showcase with flights covered, and merch support. Nothing flashy, just things musicians actually need.
Night One on November 27 sets the tone with a stacked lineup: Moira Chicilo, Mya Lowe, Snowchild Edge, Summer’s Brother, Kitty & The Rooster, and Pinebarren. It’s a mixed bag sonically, which is exactly the point.
Night Two on December 4 brings Ty Koch, Dilly Cooner, Mark Ledlin, Victoria Raskin, Trophy Dad, and Canyon Riders.
Lineups for Night Three and Four will be announced over the next 2 weeks.
Vancouver’s music scene has felt overdue for a spark. Elevate brings that spark back! Find out more about Elevate Music Project on their website.
