Glass Animals Announce 2024 Global ‘Tour of Earth’

Published

on

Today, Human Music Group Sensations Glass Animals announced their 2024 global TOUR OF EARTH. Promoted by Live Nation, the 41-date tour sees the band headlining the biggest venues of their career thus far and kicks off on Wednesday, August 7 in Charlotte, NC at PNC Music Pavilion, with stops across North America, Europe, and the UK in Toronto, New York, Nashville, Chicago, Vancouver, Inglewood, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Glasgow, and more before wrapping up with an epic hometown performance in London, UK at The O2. The Grammy-nominated and Brit-nominated, Diamond-selling British band  will be joined by special guests Kevin Abstract, Eyedress, and Blondshell on select dates throughout the North America leg. The Big Moon will join on all dates across Europe and the UK.

Yesterday, Glass Animals announced details of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much, set for release on July 19th. The album is introduced by the band’s new single, “Creatures in Heaven,” out now—listen here.

I Love You So F***ing Much is the follow-up to 2020’s critically revered Dreamland, which sold over 12 million copies globally and gave life to “Heat Waves,” the record-breaking song that became the biggest international hit from a British band in almost 30 years. It was the first song by a British band since the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” in 1995 to claim #1 for five consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first song to reach #1 with a single writer and producer since Pharell’s “Happy” —leading to the pop world’s biggest acts, including Florence Welch, all wanting to work with Glass Animals frontman, songwriter, and producer, Dave Bayley. But the birth of I Love You So F***ing Much was an existential crisis. Dave found himself struggling to make sense of this newfound global stardom, having watched it all happen while the world was in lockdown.

He says, “Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you aren’t able to change as quickly on a personal level. You end up feeling like a spectator. And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But…I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point of not knowing who I was or if anything was real.” It took being stranded on a cliff in a wooden house on stilts during one of California’s biggest storms in history to push that feeling into a full existential crisis. In forced isolation, watching trees tumble down mountains and assuming “death was coming,” Dave began asking questions of himself, of the universe, and of the human experience: namely, love. As he came to accept himself as an introvert, Dave realized that “human connection and the love between us is much bigger, more important, and more complex than anything else”. “Creatures in Heaven” is the sublime first glimpse into ten intimate love stories set against the backdrop of the universe.

Hailed as “an altogether life-affirming experience” (Billboard), “impossible to leave unsatisfied” (Austin Chronicle), “a stone-cold stunner of a show” (Detroit News), and “as tight and furious as Metallica has sounded in ages” (Los Angeles Times), M72 will resume following Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, which will run from October 1, 2026 through March 13, 2027.

Support on M72’s 2027 North American run will come from Limp Bizkit and Avatar. See below for a full list of dates.

As always, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Established in 2017 as a way to give back to communities that have supported Metallica over the years, All Within My Hands (AWMH) is a non-profit, philanthropic organization conceived by the members and management of Metallica and dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. Metallica covers all administrative costs, so 100% of donations go directly to the organizations supported by the Foundation. To date, All Within My Hands has provided grants of $19M to career and technical education programs through its Metallica Scholars Initiative, $8.8M to combat food insecurity, and $6.2M to disaster relief and other critical local services worldwide. oasis 2027

Oasis have today ended months of feverish speculation with the announcement that they will return to the live stage in 2027. Oasis Live ‘27 will see the band play 38 live shows, visiting Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, US and Ireland. With the exception of homecoming shows in Manchester, the tour will see the band perform in a completely new set of locations from the Oasis Live ‘25 tour. Special guest at all shows will be Richard Ashcroft.

Oasis said:

“START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!

After a period of reflection “The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History” has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.

Come witness the fitness.

It shall be a sight to behold.”

Demand for Oasis Live ’27 is expected to be extremely high, and so a registration process has been put in place to reduce queuing times and organised ticket touting in order to give genuine fans the best possible chance to buy tickets.Registration is open now at www.oasisinet.com

For the chance to buy tickets, fans must register before Thursday 17 September at 4pm BST /5pm CEST / 8am PT / 11am ET. Fans who are successful will be sent a unique, non-transferable code to access an allocated onsale window. Onsale windows vary by city and will run between Friday 25September and Sunday 27 September. Fans will be informed directly which of the onsale windows they can access, and at what time. The registration process is the only public way to buy tickets for Oasis Live ’27. There will be no general onsale or other public presales outside of this process. This structure has been created to ensure the purchase process is as fair and smooth as possible for Oasis fans. Further details about the ticket registration process are available at www.oasisinet.com.

When Oasis announced their return in August 2024, the news dominated conversations across the globe. The now iconic photograph of Noel and Liam Gallagher, standing shoulder to shoulder for the first time in over 15 years, adorned every news channel, social media feed, newspaper front page and broadcast outlet, carried by a tidal wave of excitement from fans who never thought they would see this moment come to be. The Oasis Live ‘25 tour became a global cultural phenomenon overnight. During their time away from the stage, new generations around the world had continued to discover the band’s music. Fans’ love forOasis only deepened and grew. Expectation reached unprecedented levels, yet no one could have foreseen the euphoria and outpouring of emotion that Oasis’ return created. The narrative changed. Joy, unity and togetherness remain.Impulsive moments of celebration, led by the fans, have become folkloric. More than 10 million fans from 158 countries queued to buy tickets. An estimated £1billion was generated for the UK economy. What Oasis achieved during 2025 was undeniable, the only question remaining was what lay in store next.

A “pause fora period of reflection” followed. Whilst 10 months have elapsed since theOasis Live ‘25 tour finale in Sao Paulo in November 2025, Oasis’ seismic comeback continues to be felt globally. ‘Wonderwall’ was adopted by the football fans as the unofficial national anthem during England’s 2026 World Cup campaign. In July 2026, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? overtook TheBeatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to become the UK’s best-selling studio album of all time. And on the big screen, Oasis: Don’tLook Back In Anger, the landmark film from Steven Knight, directed by DylanSouthern and Will Lovelace received its world premiere at the VeniceInternational Film Festival to huge critical acclaim and a deep emotional reaction from the fans.
