LADY GAGA SINGAPORE 2025 DATES

Sun May 18 – Singapore – National Stadium
Mon May 19 – Singapore – National Stadium
Wed May 21 – Singapore – National Stadium
Sat May 24 – Singapore – National Stadium

Recorded at Shangri-La Studios near her home in Malibu, MAYHEM was executive produced by Lady Gaga, Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt. Producers on the 14-track project include Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.

Ahead of the album’s debut, Gaga shared three singles, “Disease,” “Abracadabra,” and “Die With a Smile,” which were released to widespread acclaim.

Mixing industrial pop with introspective lyrics about battling inner demons, “Disease” was lauded as “her best in a long while” by THE INDEPENDENT.  THE GUARDIAN praised it for its “fizzing, distorted synths” and “pounding, slightly industrial beat,” while ROLLING STONE highlighted its “cavernous synth line” and “classic Gaga shout-along chorus.”  The music video, directed by Tanu Muino, was celebrated as “one of the best videos of the year” by VOGUE and hailed by W as a “cinematic, almost theater-like experience.”

“Abracadabra” followed “Disease,” painting a spellbinding picture of life’s trials as a metaphorical party. Driven by themes of resilience and temptation, the song debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart, propelling Gaga past 124 million monthly Spotify listeners to set a new record for the largest audience ever achieved by a female artist. ROLLING STONE praised the track as “a masterful return to dark pop that nods to the influences shaping her career,” while CLASH called it “a thrilling piece of pop music that shifts effortlessly between light and shadow.” FADER hailed it as “an anthemic electro-pop song with a deliciously evil-sounding hook and ear-tickling acid house elements,” with PITCHFORK highlighting its “latex-tight hook in true Born This Way fashion,” noting how it also reflects her decade-long evolution—from Chromatica’s house piano to the commanding vocal style honed through her theatrical training.

The official music video for “Abracadabra,” directed by Gaga alongside Parris Goebel and Bethany Vargas, has amassed over 70 million views on YouTube since its release on February 2. Featuring a visually striking dance battle between light and dark GagaVOGUE called it a “spooky-chic” spectacle filled with avant-garde fashions, while PITCHFORK praised it as “a high-concept production with impeccable styling,” adding that “Gaga remains a step above the average pop star; her true competition is the ghosts of her own past.” THE NEW YORK TIMES highlighted its “precise choreography” and “striking costumes,” and VARIETY noted that “the choreography is crisp and frenetic, the costumes are baroque and nod to Catholic grandeur just as it was for her forebear, Madonna.”

As MAYHEM unfolds, its tracklist reveals a deeply immersive journey—one that reflects Gaga’s meticulous attention to detail, from the hybrid of live instrumentation and electronic programming to the rich layers of her vocal performances. Each song weaves complex narratives with striking melodies, a testament to her fearless experimentation and deep respect for her craft.

“Garden of Eden” captures the allure and chaos of nightlife through a fusion of 2000s pop and electro-grunge guitars while “Perfect Celebrity”critiques fame with biting humor and rock-infused defiance.  Underscoring Gaga’s ability to mix vulnerability with audacity, “Vanish Into You” is a theatrical, Bowie-inspired declaration of love in an apocalyptic world.  “Killah” and “Zombieboy” showcase Gaga’s penchant for genre-blending, infusing funk grooves with industrial and electronic elements, while “LoveDrug” shifts the mood, offering a dark disco anthem about numbing emotional pain.

“The album’s latter half deepens its emotional resonance. “Shadow of a Man” explores thriving in a male-dominated world with French dance influences, while “The Beast” channels Prince’s foreboding yet soulful energy. The penultimate ballad, “Blade of Grass,” is a poignant ode to enduring love amidst chaos, setting the stage for the album’s final track—“Die With a Smile,” Gaga’s collaboration with Bruno Mars.

Infused with soulful optimism, “Die With a Smile” celebrates the joy found after weathering life’s storms. Amassing over 3.7 billion all-time streams to date, it became the longest-running No. 1 song on Spotify Global and the fastest song in history to reach both 1 and 2 billion streams on the platform. “Die With a Smile” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, and earned Gaga her 14th Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammys.

At its core, MAYHEM is about embracing the fractured pieces of oneself and discovering how they come together to form something unexpected and beautiful. The album mirrors this concept with its diverse sonic palette and thematic layers, combining elements of chaos, defiance, and vulnerability into a cohesive artistic statement. Gaga describes this process as assembling a shattered mirror: “Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something memorable and whole in its own way.”

Building on a milestone year, Gaga recently announced two massive stadium shows at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on April 26 and April 27 and a historic free concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach on May 3. On March 8, she returned to Saturday Night Live to perform as the host and musical guest.  On March 17, she’ll be honored with the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award before returning to Coachella for headlining performances on April 11 and 18.

The Smashing Pumpkins Announce Massive ‘The Rats In A Cage Tour’ Celebrating Mellon Collie Anniversary

Published

on

TheSmashingPumpkins_2026

The Smashing Pumpkins are heading back on the road this fall with a tour built around one of the defining rock albums of the 1990s. The band officially announced “The Rats In A Cage Tour,” a North American arena run celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness.

The tour kicks off Sept. 30 in Columbus, Ohio and runs through November, with stops across the United States and Canada, including a Vancouver date in November. The tour’s name comes from the famous lyric in “Bullet With Butterfly Wings,” one of the biggest singles from the landmark double album.

Frontman Billy Corgan said the band has talked about doing a Mellon Collie-focused production for years, but wanted to wait until the timing and concept felt right. This time around, fans are getting something much bigger than a standard anniversary tour.

Each show will feature two separate sets. The first is dedicated entirely to Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness in what the band describes as a theatrical presentation of the album’s music and themes. The second set will pull from nearly four decades of material, mixing major hits, fan favorites, and deeper cuts from albums spanning Gish through 2024’s Aghori Mhori Mei.

The 1995 album remains one of the biggest alternative rock releases of its era. Songs like “1979,” “Tonight, Tonight,” and “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” helped turn the band into arena headliners and defined alternative radio for a generation of fans who suddenly realized that album is now 30 years old. Time is rude sometimes.

The announcement follows a busy stretch for the band and for Corgan himself. Over the past two years, the Pumpkins have revisited Mellon Collie through deluxe reissues, orchestral reinterpretations with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and special live performances. Corgan has even been taking the material overseas with orchestral theater shows backed by a 60-piece orchestra.

Before the arena tour begins, the Pumpkins will return to Lollapalooza this summer for the first time since the festival’s touring era in 1994, marking a major hometown moment for the Chicago band.

Tickets for “The Rats In A Cage Tour” go on sale May 21 at 10 a.m. local time through the band’s official website. Citi and Verizon presales begin May 19, while members of the band’s VIZ CLUB fan community will get access to a special presale on May 20. More information here.

The band will offer VIP packages featuring a pre-show acoustic performance, Q&A session, exclusive merchandise, memorabilia, lounge access, and early merch shopping.

With no opening acts announced so far and two full sets planned each night, the tour is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious live productions the band has attempted in years.
