Mon Laferte announces “Femme Fatale Tour”

Published

on

Iconoclastic singer-songwriter and producer Mon Laferte announces 28-date Femme Fatale Tour across the U.S. and Canada in North America.  The 28-date tour – read the routing below – kicks off on July 24 at the Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, making stops in Austin, Miami, Detroit, New York, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum on Nov 7. Promoted by Live Nation, tickets will be available starting with a Citi presale (details below**) beginning on Tues., March 24 at 12PM local time ahead of additional presales taking place before the general on sale beginning on Fri., March 27 at 10AM local time at LiveNation.com. To apply for media credentials for show coverage:livenation.com/pressrequests.

The powerful Chilean-Mexican artist also releases “Spotify Sessions” EQUAL Edition, a five-song live audiovisual EP that captures the unmistakable voice of this five-time LATIN GRAMMY-winning artist. Along with her theatrical magnetism, she explores a jazz sound, accompanied by an all-female ensemble featuring Reona Sugimoto on drums, Patricia “Pilla” Reyes on piano, Marie Anne Greenham on double bass, and Maria Grant on saxophone. Mon Laferte produced the piece alongside director Magaly Ugarte.

The “Spotify Sessions” reimagines standout songs from Mon Laferte’s critically celebrated ninth studio album Femme Fatale with raw intensity and timeless elegance.  The focus track, “Femme Fatale,” takes center stage in this intimate performance. In the session, Mon leans into the noir glamour, lounge textures, and emotional volatility that define the album’s aesthetic. Mon delivers a haunting, stripped-down interpretation that underscores the strength and vulnerability at the heart of her current era.

Femme Fatale presents 14-tracks written by Mon Laferte. Across jazz-inflected arrangements, bolero undertones, and nostalgic pop textures, she channels broken glamour, sensuality, chaos, and self-possession — a modern portrait of the femme fatale archetype.

Mon Laferte’s inclusion in Spotify’s EQUAL program further solidifies the multi-Latin GRAMMY® nominee  as one of the most important female voices in contemporary Latin music. EQUAL, launched globally by Spotify, seeks to combat gender disparity in the music industry by spotlighting women creators worldwide — a mission that aligns seamlessly with Mon’s lifelong commitment to artistic independence and feminine power.

Mon Laferte’s momentum continues on the road as she brings her Femme Fatale era to audiences across Latin America with a sweeping 2026 tour through Mexico, Central America, and South America. A defining highlight includes a triumphant headline performance at Quinta Vergara during the legendary Viña del Mar festival, where she received the highest honor, the Platinum Seagull award.

Mon’s return to Viña as a headline artist of global reach marked a powerful full-circle moment, reaffirming her status as one of Chile’s most avant-garde cultural figures celebrated internationally.

Additionally, Mon Laferte recently opened acclaimed fashion designer Willy Chavarria’s Paris runway show, delivering a striking live performance of “Femme Fatale” that merged theatrical performance art with high fashion. Known for his bold political statements and reimagining of American identity through a Chicano lens, Chavarria’s collaboration with Mon underscored both artists’ shared celebration of Latin identity, drama, and unapologetic presence. Mon’s appearance marked a powerful crossover cultural moment — positioning her not only as a musical force but as a global style and artistic icon.

Mon Laferte continues to redefine what it means to be a Latin alternative superstar: fearless, genre-defying, and wholly original. Throughout 2025, Mon was the most-listened-to Mexican artist on Spotify and currently ranks among the top 500 artists on the platform.

Rising rock artist sombr is hitting the road in a big way this year. The newly announced You Are the Reason Tour spans 37 dates, bringing the singer to arenas and major festivals across North America through summer and fall.

The run begins with a handful of high-profile appearances in July, including stops in Mexico City, a set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and a performance at Lollapalooza. The full tour officially kicks off September 29 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, marking the start of a packed fall schedule.

From there, sombr will move through major cities including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, and Philadelphia. The tour wraps November 23 with a final show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The tour’s support lineup is just as notable. Artists like Interpol, King Princess, The Last Dinner Party, The Hellp, and Dove Cameron are set to appear across select dates, giving the tour a strong mix of indie, pop, and alternative energy.

Tickets roll out in stages. An artist presale begins April 14 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by additional presales, including a Spotify offering on April 16. General ticket sales open April 17 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. Fans can also look to StubHub, where resale tickets are backed by the platform’s FanProtect guarantee, though prices may vary depending on demand.

With a mix of big rooms, festival slots, and a stacked opener lineup, sombr’s upcoming run looks set to be a busy—and loud—season.
