Playboi Carti Announces Headlining Antagonist Tour Kicking Off This Fall

Genre-defying rapper Playboi Carti has announced his highly anticipated Antagonist Tour kicking off this fall. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will see Carti headlining arenas across the US. Artist presale starts on Tuesday, August 26th at 10AM local time with the general onsale starting Friday, August 29nd at 10AM local at playboicarti.com. This is Playboi Carti’s first solo headline tour since 2021, where he took several cities by storm in support of his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart Whole Lotta Red including sold out shows at The Forum in LA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Red Rocks in Denver.
Earlier this year, Carti secured his second #1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart with his critically acclaimed new album MUSIC which sold over 298,000 album equivalents in its first week – listen here. With over 3 billion streams worldwide to date, MUSIC is the 9th highest rap album charting debut of all time. The album received 139 million first day streams on Spotify, the highest debut of 2025 so far.
Critical acclaim of the album includes Rolling Stone calling it a “rap-reconfiguring album”, with Billboard crowning Carti as “one of the most distinctive voices in rap,” as well as NME naming him an “untouchable force.” All 30 tracks from the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, making Carti the first rapper in history to chart 30 or more songs on the chart, joining Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen as only the third artist in history to ever achieve this incredible feat. Carti delivered a high energy medley performance at this year’s BET Awards, where he was also nominated. He previously performed at The GRAMMY Awards earlier this year with The Weeknd, and they are currently nominated for 3 MTV VMA’s for their collaboration “Timeless.”
Following the success of MUSIC, Playboi Carti will continue to ignite fans across the country with live performances and unique fan experiences on his headlining arena tour this fall. Opening in Salt Lake City, UT on October 3, the tour will stop in major cities across the country including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, his hometown of Atlanta and more – see full routing below.
Support for the tour includes rappers Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, which will be their first time hitting the road as an Opium Collective. Over the past few years, these artists have garnered a passionate fan base and widespread critical acclaim. Ken Carson’s most recent studio album More Chaos landed him first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and is the follow up to his now Platinum-certified album A Great Chaos. Destroy Lonely’s breakout success this year includes the release of his highly anticipated debut album, If Looks Could Kill, and in 2024 he returned with LOVE LASTS FOREVER, blending Atlanta-rooted rap with a punk-infused sound. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and secured a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200. Homixide Gang, a rap duo from Atlanta, released their highly anticipated debut album, Homixide Lifestyle 2—a 25-track project that pushes rage rap forward, blending Southern hip-hop influences with a darker, more refined edge. Carson, Lonely, and Homixide Gang have also been touring several major festivals including Bonnaroo, Wireless, Rolling Loud and more. The tour will also have support from artist Apollo Red on all dates.
The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include premium tickets, access to a VIP bar throughout the night, exclusive Playboi Carti VIP only gift item, early entry into the venue & more. VIP package contents vary based on the offer selected. For more information, visit vipnation.com.
