Sarah McLachlan Announces US Tour
3X GRAMMY Award winner and global phenomenon Sarah McLachlan announced her Better Broken Tour, produced by Live Nation. McLachlan’s highly anticipated album of the same name is due out tomorrow, September 19, via Concord Records.
The fall tour will see McLachlan perform nine shows in major cities across the US, including Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Tickets will be available starting Tuesday, September 23 with various presales (details below). This includes an artist presale starting at 10am local time. Named one of fall’s most anticipated albums by the New York Times, McLachlan’s tenth studio album and debut release for Concord Records, Better Broken takes its title from its opening track – a soul-searching reflection on the fortitude that comes from weathering life’s constant storms – and furthers her legacy with a selection of songs that speak an uncompromising but radically illuminating truth about the state of the human condition. McLachlan is set to perform on Good Morning America this morning. Tomorrow, she is set to perform on Live with Kelly and Mark, and will also appear on Nightline. Next Tuesday, McLachlan will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. McLachlan has also been featured in Rolling Stone, Variety, New York Magazine, and more, and is also featured on the current cover of American Songwriter.
Mainly recorded at the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, Better Broken instills a potent new energy into her lush and moody form of pop-rock, with contributions from esteemed musicians like Wendy Melvoin (a former guitarist for Prince and the Revolution), drummer Matt Chamberlain (Bob Dylan, David Bowie), multi-instrumentalist Benny Bock (Lucy Dacus, beabadoobee), and pedal-steel guitarist Greg Leisz (Kacey Musgraves, Florence + the Machine). In a monumental leap for McLachlan, Better Broken finds her widening her creative circle and working with producers Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, boygenius) and Will Maclellan (Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers).
The tracklisting’s myriad high points include “One In a Long Line,” an irrepressible anthem railing against the rapid erosion of women’s rights in recent years, “Long Road Home,” a rapturous love song, “Gravity,” the first song recorded for the album, the pedal-steel-laced reverie, “Reminds Me” featuring MUNA’s Katie Gavin, and the “resolute” (The New York Times) title track. All throughout Better Broken, McLachlan and her fellow musicians bring an ineffable beauty to her expression of longing and grief and fierce determination.
Over the course of her three-decades-long career, McLachlan has won 3 GRAMMY Awards,
12 JUNO Awards, and sold over 40 million albums worldwide. McLachlan also founded the groundbreaking all-female music festival Lilith Fair, featuring an A-list lineup for female alternative musicians of the moment, including Sheryl Crow, Jewel, The Indigo Girls, Lisa Loeb, Fiona Apple, Erykah Badu, Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant and more. Lilith Fair: Building A Mystery – The Untold Story, a new documentary directed by Ally Pankiw and produced by Dan Levy’s Not A Real Production Company made its world premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival last week and is set to premiere on Hulu on September 21.
McLachlan is also a philanthropist and the founder of Sarah McLachlan School of Music (SoM), a not-for-profit that offers music instruction and mentorship at no cost to children and youth facing barriers to access. SoM was founded in Vancouver in 2002 and it currently serves over 1,200 students a year with locations in Vancouver, New Westminster and Edmonton. McLachlan personally covers the administrative costs so that every dollar raised goes directly to support the students.

Luke Combs Announces 12 New Stadium Shows for 2027 ‘My Kinda Saturday Night Tour’
Luke Combs is extending his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour into 2027, announcing 12 new stadium shows across the United States.
The new dates continue the tour that Combs launched in 2026, though fans can expect a different lineup of opening acts. Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin will join Combs at various stops throughout the 2027 run.
The tour takes its name from “My Kinda Saturday Night,” a song from Combs’ latest album, The Way I Am. The singer recently wrapped the 2026 leg with three sold-out performances at London’s Wembley Stadium.
For now, the 12 newly announced stadium concerts are the only dates listed on Combs’ official tour calendar. Tickets for all 12 shows go on sale August 21.
The announcement had been teased throughout the week, with several venues revealing details before Combs officially announced the dates on Thursday morning.
The limited schedule reflects a shift in how Combs is approaching life on the road. With three young children — ages four, nearly three and six months — the singer has spoken about putting more time aside for his family. The days of spending most of the week away from home may be becoming less common for the country star.
That does not mean Combs is stepping away from the stage. Every 2027 date announced so far is scheduled at a football stadium with a capacity of at least 60,000 people.
The strategy is similar to one adopted by several major country artists in recent years, including Morgan Wallen: fewer shows in much larger venues. Rather than spending months on the road playing arenas and smaller venues, Combs can reach a large audience with a limited number of performances.
For fans, that makes each stop a bigger event. For Combs, it offers a way to keep touring while spending more time at home with his family.
Tickets go on sale August 21.

Steve Lacy Announces 27-Date Fall Tour Behind Oh Yeah?
Steve Lacy is hitting the road this fall with a 27-date tour in support of his upcoming album, Oh Yeah?
The tour kicks off September 27 in Minneapolis and will take Lacy across North America, with stops planned in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and New York. The run will wrap up in Vancouver.
Oh Yeah? marks Lacy’s first album since 2022’s Gemini Rights, the record that helped further establish him as one of R&B and alternative music’s most distinctive voices. The new album features appearances from SZA, Erykah Badu and Cecile Believe.
The upcoming tour will be Lacy’s first major run since the 2022 Give You the World Tour, which supported Gemini Rights. Four years later, he is set to return to the stage with new material and a string of dates across North America.
