System Of A Down Announce 2025 South American ‘Wake Up!’ Stadium Tour Dates

System of a Down is making serious moves in 2025. After recently confirming a handful of North American stadium dates, the band just added a new leg: a run through South America.
The Wake Up! South America tour kicks off April 24 in Bogotá, Colombia, at Estadio Nemésio Camacho El Campín. From there, the group heads to Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and wraps up with three shows across Brazil—in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. These will be their first South American concerts since 2015.
No openers have been announced yet. Fans can register for early ticket access starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time (8 a.m. in Peru), with general sales going live Thursday, Dec. 19, at noon.
This announcement follows news of SOAD’s North American stadium shows with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, and Deftones in tow. That leg kicks off Aug. 27–28 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, hits Chicago’s Soldier Field Aug. 31–Sept. 1, and ends in Toronto on Sept. 3 and 5.
The band’s been mostly quiet since their 2006 hiatus, occasionally popping up for festivals and one-off shows. A sixth album has been teased over the years, but as of now, there’s still no word on a follow-up to Mezmerize and Hypnotize.
