Taylor Swift Surprises Fans At The Grammys With New Album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Announcement

Accepting the Grammy for best pop vocal album on Sunday night, Taylor Swift announced a brand new album The Tortured Poets Department, releasing April 19th. She kept that album secret for two years.
Earlier in the day, there was mass speculation that she was gearing up to release Reputation (Taylor’s Version) when her site seemed to go down.
On her Instagram, Swift posted the title and cover of her new record. “All’s fair in love and poetry…” her caption read. In a little over an hour, the Instagram post had amassed nearly 7 million likes — a figure that swelled to an apt 13 million in under a day. The album will feature 16 tracks and additional ones per album version. Collaborations will include “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone, and “Florida!!!” featuring Florence + the Machine.
This will be Swift‘s 11th studio album, not counting her re-recordings. Her last original album was Midnights, released in October 2022. Since then, she’s launched the billion-dollar Eras Tour and released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
On February 7th, Swift will resume ‘The Eras Tour’ in Japan before travelling to Melbourne and Sydney. The tour continues throughout the entirety of 2024, with Swift returning to the U.S. in October and November.

Eslabon Armado Announces 2026 “AMOR NOCTURNO TOUR”
Multi-platinum, award-winning Regional Mexican group Eslabon Armado today announced their 2026 “AMOR NOCTURNO TOUR,” a major North American headline run set to launch July 24th in Phoenix, Arizona.
Promoted by Live Nation, the tour will see Eslabon Armado headline major venues across the United States, with stops including Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Boston, and San Francisco, before extending into México this fall – marking one of the group’s most expansive touring runs to date.
Tickets for the “AMOR NOCTURNO TOUR” go on sale Friday, June 12th at 10:00 AM local time, following presales beginning Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 AM local time through 11:59 PM local time. For further ticket purchase information, please visit LiveNation.com.
The announcement comes as Eslabon Armado continues to defy expectations and cultural barriers on a global scale, becoming one of the most influential forces in contemporary Latin music and helping redefine the international reach of Regional Mexican music for a new generation.
The group made history as the first Mexican music act to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, solidifying their status as global trailblazers within the genre. Their worldwide breakout hit “Ella Baila Sola” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first Regional Mexican song to enter the chart’s Top 10. The track spent nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global chart, was named Spotify’s Global Song of the Summer, and became the most-streamed Latin song of 2023. Its music video has amassed nearly 776 million YouTube views, and the song was recognized as the Best Latin Single of 2023 in the RIAA mid-year report. The group also received nominations for Song of the Year and Best Regional Mexican Song at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards.
Known for modernizing Regional Mexican music through emotional storytelling and youthful vulnerability, Eslabon Armado blend traditional sierreño and norteño influences with melodic pop sensibilities and minimalist production. Their signature sound – rooted in acoustic guitars, requinto-driven melodies, and deeply confessional songwriting – has resonated across global audiences and established them as one of the defining voices of contemporary Latin music.
Fans can experience that evolution firsthand when the “AMOR NOCTURNO TOUR” kicks off July 24th, bringing Eslabon Armado’s acclaimed live show to audiences across North America before continuing into México later this year.
