Thee Sacred Souls Release New Album and 24′ 25′ Tour Dates

Thee Sacred Souls continue to build anticipation for their forthcoming album Got A Story To Tell (out October 4 on Daptone Records) with the release of “Waiting on the Right Time.” A song about balancing patience with seizing the moment and finding that ideal time to say “I love you,” “Waiting on the Right Time” explores a more psychedelic side of Thee Sacred Souls with heavy reverb and a searing guitar line over a swaggering groove that burns slow and steady. Thee Sacred Souls have also just announced a second leg of their ‘24-25 international tour, with sold out shows including Brooklyn’s Paramount Theater November 8. Their summer was filled with notable performances, including a triumphant debut at Celebrate Brooklyn for nearly 10,000 people, a spotlight set at Montreal Jazz Festival, and at Fool In Love in Los Angeles over Labor Day weekend, on a bill stacked with soul legends. The full tour schedule is detailed here and the newly announced dates go on sale this Friday at 10AM local time (artist presale goes live at 10AM local time today) at theesacredsouls.com/tour-dates.

Got A Story To Tell, written by the band’s founding members Alejandro Garcia, Salvador Samano, and Josh Lane, features 12 brand new tracks that solidify Thee Sacred Souls’ reputation as masters of their craft. Recorded at Penrose Recorders in Riverside, CA, under the expert guidance of producer Gabriel Roth, the album is a testament to the band’s growth and their deepening connection to the soul music that inspired them. The album is rich with layers of sound—strings, smooth guitar, piano, congas, and horns—all coming together to weave tales of love, struggle, and triumph.
Punctuated with strings and smooth guitar, trundling piano, pops of conga, and horns, Got A Story To Tell is a thrilling, layered listen that slowly unravels a novella of characters and evocative tales. Lead single “Lucid Girl” champions independent women, set to some of the toughest sounding drums and bass the band has yet to put to tape. “Live For You” oozes with timeless style while revealing a message of perseverance and self love.
The highly anticipated follow-up to their self-titled 2022 breakout, Got A Story To Tell is a reflection of the band’s journey—marked by relentless touring, newfound fame, and the trials that come with rapid success. In just two years, the band’s“music of terrifyingly high quality” (UNCUT) led to a performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk, several TV show appearances — Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Saturday, Kelly Clarkson, Jools Holland, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert — six million monthly listeners on Spotify, an ever-growing list of celebrity fans including SZA, Alicia Keys, Leon Bridges, and Kylie Jenner, and festival debuts at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk, Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza.

Luke Combs Announces 12 New Stadium Shows for 2027 ‘My Kinda Saturday Night Tour’
Luke Combs is extending his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour into 2027, announcing 12 new stadium shows across the United States.
The new dates continue the tour that Combs launched in 2026, though fans can expect a different lineup of opening acts. Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin will join Combs at various stops throughout the 2027 run.
The tour takes its name from “My Kinda Saturday Night,” a song from Combs’ latest album, The Way I Am. The singer recently wrapped the 2026 leg with three sold-out performances at London’s Wembley Stadium.
For now, the 12 newly announced stadium concerts are the only dates listed on Combs’ official tour calendar. Tickets for all 12 shows go on sale August 21.
The announcement had been teased throughout the week, with several venues revealing details before Combs officially announced the dates on Thursday morning.
The limited schedule reflects a shift in how Combs is approaching life on the road. With three young children — ages four, nearly three and six months — the singer has spoken about putting more time aside for his family. The days of spending most of the week away from home may be becoming less common for the country star.
That does not mean Combs is stepping away from the stage. Every 2027 date announced so far is scheduled at a football stadium with a capacity of at least 60,000 people.
The strategy is similar to one adopted by several major country artists in recent years, including Morgan Wallen: fewer shows in much larger venues. Rather than spending months on the road playing arenas and smaller venues, Combs can reach a large audience with a limited number of performances.
For fans, that makes each stop a bigger event. For Combs, it offers a way to keep touring while spending more time at home with his family.
Tickets go on sale August 21.

April 10 — Minneapolis, Minn. @ U.S. Bank Stadium
April 17 — Detroit, Mich. @ Ford Field
