Rock En Seine Reveals Full 2024 Lineup
Paris’ highly anticipated music festival, Rock en Seine, returns this summer from August 21 to 25 at Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. Set in this picturesque location on the outskirts of Paris, the festival will feature five stages and a stellar lineup over five days. Today, we are thrilled to announce 19 new acts joining the bill.
Lana Del Rey will open Rock en Seine on Wednesday, August 21, with an exclusive concert, her only performance in France this summer.
The festival week will continue with headline performances from Fred again.., LCD Soundsystem, Måneskin, Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, The Offspring, and The Smile. Rock en Seine is also excited to welcome back some iconic names this year. American trio Gossip will make a legendary return after a decade-long hiatus, while riot grrrl pioneers Sleater–Kinney will perform in France following the release of their eleventh studio album, Little Rope, this year. Indie heavyweights Kasabian and punk rockers Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes join the enigmatic British legend Baxter Dury as part of the latest cohort from the UK. Legendary Flemish electro brothers 2ManyDJs are also confirmed, following the announcement of their other project, Soulwax, earlier this year.
These icons are joined by contemporary artists who have forged new paths in their musical fields. French DJ/producer Canblaster, renowned for his production skills, will perform, along with London-based rapper Loyle Carner and electro-soul multi-instrumentalist Sampha. Teezo Touchdown will represent the Texan rap scene, while Parisian psych-wizards The Psychotic Monks, post-punk trailblazers Astéréotypie, West Coast rebels Destroy Boys, and indie-rockers Dead Poet Society will bring their raw energy to Paris.
Rock en Seine remains at the forefront of discovering new talent worldwide. Joining the lineup are London-based rising stars The Last Dinner Party, soul crooner Elmiene, whose debut EP has already garnered critical acclaim, French artist Lucky Love with his emotionally charged ballads, the Nantes-based collective Soyuuz, and New York-based female disco-soul trio Say She She.
This extensive lineup announcement is just a glimpse of what Rock en Seine will offer this summer. Previously announced acts include the London dance-funk duo Jungle, BBC Introducing Artist of the Year Olivia Dean, the eternal dance floor queen Róisín Murphy, and multi-disciplinary French artist Zaho de Sagazan, alongside the major headliners.
Rock en Seine‘s commitment to diverse and dynamic music ensures a vibrant festival experience, celebrating sounds from all corners of the musical landscape.
Aligned with its core values, Rock en Seine will continue the festivities through the ACT! Zone, where numerous talks will focus on the festival’s sustainability commitments. The Mini Rock activities, Club Avant Seine, and Première Seine programs will once again support young and emerging talents.
This 20th edition also coincides with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, and Rock en Seine is proud to participate in the Cultural Olympiad for Paris 2024.
Rock en Seine 2024 will be a dazzling and historic convergence of two flames: the universal flame of the Olympics and the festival’s enduring enthusiasm. The connections between art, music, and sports, and their shared values of excellence, self-improvement, inclusion, diversity, and universalism, will be celebrated. Festival-goers can look forward to a remarkable and surprise-filled event.
