Vancouver Hosts First-Ever Western-Themed ‘Fest With No Name’

The Fest With No Name is a curated, family-friendly, inclusive Country Music and lifestyle event taking place July 20th and 21st, 2024 at the PNE Centre Grounds, located on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations in Vancouver, BC. Conceptualised after the Man with No Name and the Fistful of Dollars Western movie trilogy from the 60s and 70s, the event aims to provide a Country & Western culture experience featuring a selection of some of the most exciting artists in the genre. 

The lineup will feature headline performances from Midland and the Western Canadian debut of Shane Smith & The Saints. Other Vancouver debut performances include Pony Bradshaw, Summer Dean, and Jaime Wyatt. Rounding out the lineup is the return of the Highway Queen herself Nikki Lane, along with performances from Dean Johnson and Dylan Earl, plus Canadian artists Mariel Buckley and Shane Ghostkeeper. Also featuring, on its inaugural ride west, The Littlest Honky Tonk (The World’s Only Travelling Honky Tonk, Country Music Museum & Western Shop). Additional artist’s still to be announced for the pre-party and after-parties taking place over the weekend. 

The event will also include; opening ceremonies courtesy of the Squamish Ocean Canoe Family, drag performances, repurposed old west building facades from a locally shot film set, BBQ and food vendors, a VIP Saloon, mechanical bull rides, tin type photo booth, a vendor market featuring vintage western and lifestyle apparel curated in collaboration with Forastera Vintage, and more!
