On November 13, singer-songwriter Elyanna brought her Woledto Tour to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC.

Her show was a vibrant celebration of Arab culture and her own heritage as a Palestinian-Chilean artist. The night kicked off with a DJ set by ZEEMUFFIN, pumping up the crowd with high-energy Arab hits before Elyanna took the stage. Her entrance was stunning, as she emerged under a halo, accompanied by her dancers, setting a powerful tone.

Elyanna performed songs from her latest album Woledto, blending traditional Palestinian sounds with Latin influences and showcasing her impressive vocal range. Her set moved effortlessly from soulful ballads like “Lel Ya Lel” to covers like “Callin’ U” by Amr Diab to dance-inducing tracks such as “Ganeni.” Highlights included a moving rendition of “Olive Branch,” where the audience shared a somber moment of unity.

The lighting and visuals perfectly matched the shifting moods of her songs, from still, spotlighted moments to dynamic dance numbers with strobe effects. Elyanna’s unwavering commitment to performing exclusively in Arabic made the concert feel authentic and special. Leaving the venue, fans felt a deep connection to her music and the cultural pride she brought to the stage.

Elyanna will be on tour in North America until November 30 in San Diego, before heading to Europe. More info on her website.
