Marianas Trench at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver – Gallery
Marianas Trench wrapped up their Force of Nature Tour with a thrilling finale at Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre on December 12, 2024.
Opening act LØLØ set the tone with her high-energy pop-punk hits like “junkie” and “kill the girl,” blending raw emotion with playful rebellion. Her electrifying cover of Icona Pop’s “I Love It” had the crowd buzzing. By the time she closed with “hot girls in hell,” the audience was primed for the main act.
When Marianas Trench hit the stage, the sold-out venue erupted in cheers. Launching with “A Normal Life,” lead singer Josh Ramsey, guitarist Matt Webb, bassist Mike Ayley, and drummer Ian Casselman delivered a flawless mix of fan-favourites and live debuts from their new album, Haven, released on August 30th via 604 Records. Josh Ramsay’s dynamic stage presence and soaring vocals, paired with the band’s tight harmonies, captivated the audience.
Highlights included a nostalgic medley of hits like “Cross My Heart/Celebrity Status/Shake Tramp,” and Ramsay’s intimate interaction with fans during “Pop 101” and “Haven’t Had Enough.” Stunning visuals, echoing the nature-inspired themes of Haven, and the air cannons added to the theatrical atmosphere.
The night was a perfect end to an unforgettable tour!
