PARTYNEXTDOOR at the PNE Forum in Vancouver, BC – Gallery
On July 5, Canadian R&B singer PARTYNEXTDOOR brought his Sorry I’m Outside tour to the PNE Forum in Vancouver, BC.
Fellow Canadian artists Swavy and Roy Woods kicked off the night while security was working overtime to provide the young audience with water, due to high temperatures.
Then it was time for PARTYNEXTDOOR, aka Jahron Anthony Brathwaite. He gained recognition as one of the first artists signed to Drake‘s OVO Sound record label. Known for his distinctive blend of R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music, PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s sound is characterized by moody atmospheres and introspective lyrics. He debuted with his self-titled mixtape in 2013, followed by a series of successful projects, including PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO and PARTYNEXTDOOR 3. His songwriting prowess extends to penning hits for other artists, including Rihanna‘s “Work.” With a unique voice and a talent for crafting infectious melodies, PARTYNEXTDOOR has cemented his place in contemporary R&B.
The production was on point with a great stage setup and beautiful lighting that set the perfect atmosphere for his songs. He was accompanied by four dancers and a live band. Adding guitar solos to several tracks really gave them another dimension.
He will be on tour across North America until mid-August. More info on his website.
