Sam Barber at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC – Gallery
On May 19, American country singer-songwriter Sam Barber brought his Till I Return Tour to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC.
Hailing from the plains of Colorado, Kade Hoffman and his guitar opened the night.
Then came Sam Barber who started his set with two acoustic songs “Million Eyes” and “Man That You Raised”, before his band appeared on stage for “Drowning”, including a violinist. He told the Commodore that this was his first time in Vancouver, and his biggest show ever!
While the crowd sang almost every words to his songs, his hit track “Straight And Narrow” got the most engagement. It’s like the audience could feel the authenticity behind his lyrics and persona. He ended the show with “Till I Return” under thunderous applause.
At 21 year-old, Sam Barber has a long career ahead of him. Make sure to go watch him if he comes your way, you won’t regret it. More info on tour dates on his website.
