On August 11, St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, brought her All Born Screaming Tour to the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

The night kicked off with Eartheater, aka Alexandra Drewchin. She is an American multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and vocalist.

At 9pm, St. Vincent took the stage hidden by fog and backlight under a black arch. Dressed in a in all-black, she captivated the audience from the first note of “Reckless.” You can’t look away—she’s a creative force in every movement, whether it’s her body language, facial expressions, or the way she commands her guitar.
The set showed her versatility, with St. Vincent effortlessly moving between heart-wrenching ballads, indie-pop anthems like “Los Ageless,” and punk-infused tracks, as the the show featured a perfectly curated setlist, blending seven new songs with a mix of her earlier work. Her custom guitars added a unique edge to songs from her latest album, All Born Screaming, with “Broken Man” standing out as a highlight.

This was a performance that showcased St. Vincent at her peak. If you have the chance to see her live, don’t miss it. She will be on tour in North America until September 20th. More info on her website.
