On September 22, Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems brought her Born In The Wild Tour to a sold out Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

The night started with American singer, Lekan, who performed songs from his debut EP So You Know.

At 9pm, the stage was transformed into grassy plains, creating a vibrant and earthy atmosphere that complemented her music. Tems emerged in a stunning bejeweled blue halter top and matching pants, shimmering as she launched into her set. Supported by a live band and backup singers, she seamlessly blended afrobeats, pop, and R&B, making each song feel alive and fresh.

Tems delivered a fun and high-energy set on her first-ever world tour, captivating the crowd with her dynamic performance. With two EPs and an album full of hits, the Nigerian singer had a rich catalogue of songs to choose from. Her setlist was packed with hits, including fan favourites like “Love Me JeJe” and “Me & U” from her debut album Born in the Wild.

Her stage presence was undeniable—she connected effortlessly with the audience, dancing, twirling, and sparkling, both literally and figuratively. Tems’ energy was contagious, and the crowd couldn’t help but move along to her infectious beats.
