Tedeschi Trucks Band Announces Future Soul 2026 Tour

Published

on

Tedeschi Trucks Band (TTB), the GRAMMY Award-winning band led by the dynamic wife and husband duo of Susan Tedeschiand Derek Trucks, has announced the details for their sixth studio album, Future Soul, and released the first single “I Got You.”The 11-track collection, the band’s most powerful album to date, will be released on Friday, March 20th via Fantasy Records in the middle of TTB’s 10-show headlining run at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. The infectious “I Got You,” written by guitarist/vocalist Mike Mattison, takes cues from the spirit of Derek and the Dominos and Delaney & Bonnie to create a driving, mid-tempo classic. PRESS HERE to listen and PRESS HERE to watch the official video. PRESS HERE to pre-save Future Soul on DSPs and to pre-order on CD and vinyl.

“‘I Got You’ is a breath of fresh air and pretty different for us,” shares Trucks. “It feels like the band, but it doesn’t feel like anything we’ve done before.”

Produced by Mike Elizondo (Twenty One Pilots, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Carrie Underwood) and co-produced by Trucks, Future Soul – recorded at their own Swamp Raga Recording (Jacksonville, FL) as well as Phantom Studios (Gallatin, TN) – marks the follow-up to TTB’s 2022 conceptual quadruple studio album, I Am The Moon, and their latest live release, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell Present: Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’) (2025). The heart, honesty, and full-band collaboration on Future Soul makes the forthcoming album the most unique collection to date from the revered 12-piece powerhouse ensemble. The majority of the songwriting was done by Trucks, Tedeschi, Mattison, Gabe Dixon, and Tyler Greenwell with the music sonically pulling from a variety of influences including funk, rock ‘n roll, blues, soul, punk, and much more. Track listing for Future Soul below.

To support the album’s release, Tedeschi Trucks Band has announced their Future Soul 2026 Tour, produced by Live Nation. Since then, the group has racked up more than 2.5 billion streams; topped the Billboard Heatseekers chart; topped the Americana Albums chart, sold out multiple nights from Red Rocks to Radio City; headlined Columbus’ Nationwide Arena; received praise from the likes of NPR, Relix, SPIN and more; and performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and CBS Saturday Morning. After 2025 and 2026 global sell-outs, Tame Impala has added another run of North American dates kicking off this summer. The tour will begin in Miami at Kaseya Center on July 7th and wrap up September 19th at the Toyota Center in Houston. The first half of the tour will be supported by Djo and the latter half by Dominic Fike, marking the first time either of the two massive artists in their own right have ever supported on a tour.  Artist presales via Seated will begin Wednesday, February 18 at 12pm local time, with unique passwords required. Additional presales will follow on Thursday, February 19 at 12pm local time, including the AEG/Venue presale, the Ticketmaster/AXS presale, and the Radio presale. All presales will conclude Thursday, February 19 at 10pm local time, with the public on sale beginning Friday, February 20 at 12pm local time. For more information visit www.tameimpala.com

Late last year, Tame Impala released his fifth full-length album, Deadbeat via Columbia Records. On it, Parker sculpted a collection of wickedly potent club-psych explorations as a vehicle for some of his most direct, brain-wormy songwriting to date, including the breakout hit “Dracula.” The song has now held the #1 position at ALT radio and Tame Impala has since released “Dracula (JENNIE Remix).” The song travelled all the way to South Korea and came back reborn with vocals from the global superstar. LISTEN HERE.

After releasing Deadbeat, Parker scored a GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for the single “End Of Summer” (the only track eligible for the 2026 GRAMMYS) and won the category earlier this month. He also picked up a BRIT Award nomination for International Group of the Year. Tame Impala has had 5 career GRAMMY nominations and now two wins, and has racked up three BRIT Award nominations and a win throughout his career. Prior to becoming tour-mates, Tame Impala and Djo (Joe Keery) teamed up for the “Loser” video – WATCH HERE

“One of the best live shows of the year.”
