2025 Invictus Games Adds Katy Perry To Opening Ceremony Lineup
The Invictus Games, set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler, BC, from February 8 to 16, 2025, will feature global music sensation Katy Perry as part of the highly anticipated Opening Ceremony.
Organizers have already unveiled a star-studded lineup for the event, including Victoria’s own Nelly Furtado. Adding to the excitement, they promise to announce another “global superstar” in the coming weeks.
Katy Perry, one of the best-selling music artists of the past two decades, has earned five American Music Awards and 13 Grammy nominations. Beyond her musical achievements, she is celebrated for her commitment to numerous philanthropic causes.
This marks Canada’s second time hosting the Invictus Games, following Toronto’s memorable event in 2017. Founded by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, the Games shine a spotlight on the inspiring achievements of wounded, injured, and sick veterans and service personnel, fostering a spirit of resilience and camaraderie.
