Counterparts at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver

Counterparts brought pure chaos and emotion to Vancouver with their explosive set at the Commodore Ballroom on October 6.
The Hamilton-based melodic hardcore band commanded the stage with precision and heart, pouring every ounce of energy into a performance that was as cathartic as it was crushing. Frontman Brendan Murphy’s raw vocals cut through the noise, drawing screams and chants from a packed crowd that never stopped moving.
From the first breakdown to the final singalong, the room pulsed with intensity and connection, a shared release that Counterparts have no issue delivering. Supported by Thrown, 156/Silence, and Split Chain, the night proved why Counterparts remain one of the most powerful forces in modern hardcore.
