Jade Lemac at the Theatre Beanfield in Montreal
On January 29th, 2026, fans young and old gathered together in Montreal’s Theatre Beanfield for Jade Lemac’s It’s Always at Night tour stop.
First, the audience sang and danced to a wonderful opening performance by Chiara Savasta, whose music complimented Lemac‘s, and definitely set the tone for the night. Her performance also included a cover of “Black Sheep” by Metric, which had everyone singing along in the crowd.
At 9pm, Jade Lemac took the stage with an opening performance of “Heaven’s Sake.” While singing, she took some time to interact with the crowd, throwing a few waves and hand hearts to audience members she recognized, or who were showing a lot of energy.
Lemac has the stage presence to not rely on theatrics in order to have a lasting concert. Her voice enchanted everyone in the room, and the moody lighting demonstrated well the energy and emotion she was reflecting in her music. There was even a small fan-project, as audience members brought pink balloons to throw in the air during her song “Pink Balloon,” performed
midway in the set.
Closing with fan-favourites including “Constellations” and “Running Home,” the audience cheered loudly as Lemac thanked everyone for coming out. This was Jade Lemac’s third performance in Montreal, and fans left the venue already awaiting the next!

Goose Brings their ‘Summer Tour’ to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver
Goose brought their 2026 Summer Tour to Vancouver on Tuesday night, turning the Commodore Ballroom into a sweaty, late-night dance party that stretched well past 11 p.m.
The Connecticut-based quartet — Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach, Trevor Weekz and drummer Cotter Ellis — has built a reputation for letting songs breathe onstage, and Vancouver got the full treatment. The band played two sets and an encore, giving the crowd plenty of room to settle into the grooves and watch the songs take unexpected turns.
The first set opened with “Yeti” before moving through “Need,” “Turbulence” and “Time to Flee.” “Everything Must Go” and “Mr. Action” kept things moving before “Hungersite” closed the set with one of the night’s bigger stretches of improvisation.
After a break, Goose returned with “Tumble” and “Wysteria,” followed by a surprising cover of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes.” “Jive I” brought the funk before the band launched into “Electric Avenue,” a crowd-pleasing choice that had the Commodore singing along.
“Lee” wrapped up the second set, but Goose wasn’t finished. The band returned for “Spin Me,” sending the crowd home after a long night of music.
There was little interest in rushing through the evening. Goose gave each section space, moving from tight grooves to loose instrumental passages without making the show feel like a collection of extended solos.
For a band coming off a European run and heading into some of its biggest U.S. shows, Vancouver felt like another strong stop on the way. The Commodore may be a much smaller room than Madison Square Garden or SPAC, but Goose seemed perfectly happy to stretch out inside it.

Chance The Rapper Brings ‘Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour’ to Montreal at MTelus
After 10 years since its release, Chance the Rapper is back on tour to celebrate his album Coloring Book! With Montreal being the 4th stop on the tour, many fans packed into Montreal’s MTELUS on August 15th, 2026, with no idea of what to expect.
First, the audience was thrilled by an energetic and upbeat performance by opener La Reezy. His quick lyrics and heavy instrumentals had no trouble in setting the tone for the night, specifically during “Gold Chains,” and with stellar crowd engagement during “We Live.”
Then, Chance the Rapper took the stage! With Coloring Book being such a staple in 2016, especially in the rap community, it is a daunting task to bring that nostalgic energy back on stage. But, with a 24-song setlist, Chance does just that. Unsurprisingly, half the setlist features songs from Coloring Book, with the set opening with “All We Got,” and closing with “Same Drugs,” featuring a confetti-filled performance of “No Problem” in the middle. However, Chance doesn’t shy away from performing a few hits from his other albums as well, such as “Link Me In The Future” from STAR LINE, and some older work in Acid Rap.
Overall, there is something powerful about hearing these songs a decade later. The themes stay the same, yet as both the artist and audience grow, there’s new meanings and emotions to be found in the lyrics. The anniversary show felt like a reunion for those who grew up with Coloring Book, and that’s what ultimately makes this tour a success.
