Keshi at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle

Published

Last Friday, Keshi delivered an energetic and memorable performance to a sold out crowd in Seattle, Washington for his highly anticipated Requiem world tour.

In true Pacific Northwest fashion, a summer rainstorm poured throughout the entire day, but that didn’t stop fans from lining up early outside of Seattle’s Paramount Theatre to see the Houston native’s first concert back in the city since 2023.

The show’s production was stunning. Set amongst a massive LED screen, saturated in moody blue lighting and surrounded by a live band, Keshi brought the crowd to life with his magnetic stage presence, despite being on vocal rest and battling recent flu symptoms prior to the Seattle stop.

The setlist balanced new material from his latest album, with beloved tracks from GABRIEL, as well as older EP’s, showcasing his musical growth and satisfying both new and longtime fans from his SoundCloud days. The audience sang along to favorites like “Soft Spot,” “UNDERSTAND,” “beside you,” “War,” “drunk,” “Just To Die,” “Bodies” and “2 soon,” along with a surprise special rendition of “LIMBO” and newly released single, “WANTCHU.”

With more than 20 songs performed over the course of the night, the energy remained electric from start to finish, capping off a beautiful evening and marking a triumphant second-to-last stop of the Requiem tour.

On February 24th, 2026, Lauren Spencer Smith’s The Art of Being a Mess tour made its stop in snowy Montreal, Canada, at MTELUS. As fans trickled into the venue, they were treated to a beautiful and fun opening performance by “fairy-princess” Maisy Kay. She wore a beautiful layered and whimsical dress, and sported her iconic butterfly microphone. It was an excellent start to the event, and set a tone of dancing, fun and good energy to the night.

Next up was a second opening performance by Sadie Jean, whose indie pop music easily had fans swaying and dancing along. Her set included songs such as “I Tried”, “Somebody’s Everything”, and “WYD Now?” She took the time to wave and interact with fans, even taking a few gifts such as a bedazzled cowboy hat, and a Quebec flag designed for her.

Finally, fans buzzed in excitement as the main act, Lauren Spencer Smith took the stage. Her stage design was intricate and fun, featuring a telephone booth, a bench and a “Sad Girl on a Bench” tissue box, and various “street signs” that had references to the themes of her music. Her set opened with “IF KARMA DOESN’T GET YOU (I WILL)”, an intensely upbeat song that every fan in the room knew the words to. A few balloons were thrown into the air as the set continued, where “28” was performed on the bench mentioned earlier. Smith’s setlist consisted of 20 songs, and it was truly an emotional rollercoaster between soft and heavy themes, which felt like a perfect reflection of her discography. During the set, she continued the tradition of taking a picture with the crowd, which serves as a wonderful memory for fans to look back on.
Closing with “Fingers Crossed” and “Sticks & Stones”, Lauren Spencer Smith thanked the crowd for the night, and headed off stage to the sound of adoring cheers, and the energy of a great night!

Megadeth at Rogers Forum in Abbostford

Megadeth-Abbostford-23

Megadeth rolled into Abbotsford’s Rogers Forum on February 17 with their Canadian farewell tour in tow, and they did not waste a second getting down to business. The lineup alone was enough to make any thrash fan sweat a little. Bay Area pioneers Exodus kicked things off with a gritty, no-frills set that immediately sparked the first mosh pits of the night, followed by NYC heavyweights Anthrax, who kept the circle pits churning and the energy climbing. By the time Megadeth hit the stage, the arena was buzzing and fully warmed up.

They came out swinging with “Tipping Point,” “Dread and the Fugitive Mind,” and a ripping “Hangar 18,” setting a fierce pace right away. The band sounded tight, confident, and completely in sync, tearing through a set that balanced longtime favourites with deeper cuts. On the floor, the pits kept opening and collapsing in waves, a constant swirl of bodies matching every rapid-fire riff.

About halfway through, the band made some tour debuts featuring “She-Wolf,” and “Poison Was the Cure”. Not too long after, fans were treated to one of their biggest hits “Symphony of Destruction” which turned into a full-arena moment, thousands of voices chanting in unison.

For two hours, Megadeth revisited decades of material with clarity and precision. If this really is the last run, Abbotsford got to see them exactly how they should be seen: loud and in full command of the chaos.
