On September 14, pop singer Remi Wolf brought her Big Ideas Tour to the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

British-Jamaican musician and director, Lava La Rue, opened the night with their 2-piece band and shared songs from their latest album STARFACE.

Shortly after 9pm, Remi Wolf appeared, backlit in a sea of fog, ready to fire up the Orpheum. From the moment she stepped on stage, wearing a flowy dress and rider boots, she radiated an infectious and electrifying charm. The modern stage design, complete with a massive light wall, and a podium for her entire band, set the perfect backdrop for Wolf’s lively antics.

She danced, and leapt around with the enthusiasm of someone untethered. Anyone familiar with Wolf’s music knew she would be keeping the crowd entertained. Her effortless charisma and laissez-faire delivery captivated the audience throughout.

Wolf’s musicality that truly shone last night. She effortlessly balanced talent with self-awareness, connecting with the crowd. Fans laughed, danced, and absorbed the good vibes Wolf was sending their way. It was a joyous celebration of music, art, and unadulterated fun. Two standouts moment where the improv song (“to keep [herself] challenged“) where she asks the audience for one word (purple raven) and one key (E flat major) to create a whole new song; and the line dancing before “Toro”.

Remi Wolf’s performance was a whirlwind of energy and pure joy, a perfect reflection of her Big Ideas album. Catch Remi Wolf on tour in the North America until October 16th, before she jumps over the pond for the UK leg of the tour. More info on her website.
