PNE Summer Night Concerts – Mother Mother

Published

on

Hometown heroes Mother Mother lit up the Pacific Coliseum on August 21st as part of the PNE Summer Night Concert Series with a show that was as much a feast for the eyes as the ears.

The Quadra Island-based indie rock band features Ryan Guldemond on guitar and vocals, Molly Guldemond on vocals and keyboards, Jasmin Parkin on keyboards and vocals, Ali Siadat on drums, and Mike Young on bass.

Since forming in 2005, the band has released multiple critically acclaimed albums. Inside the venue, the band burst onto the stage and out of the gate opening with “The Sticks,” followed by “Verbatim,” “Make Believe,” and a wild “Hayloft/In Bloom” mash-up! Between the stunning light show and the band’s vibrant chemistry, the whole night was a joy to experience; the kind of night that proves summer’s all about killer concerts featuring local music with great people!
