John Legend is hitting the road to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album that launched his career. The EGOT-winning artist announced on March 18 that he will embark on a world tour in honor of Get Lifted, his 2004 debut album that made him a household name.

“I’m so excited to announce that I’m heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour!” Legend shared on Instagram.

“Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire Get Lifted album—the album that introduced me to the world—plus a few favorites from my career that all of you know and love.”

The tour will kick off in Europe, with shows in late May and June, before making its way to North America from August through December. Fans can expect stops in major cities like London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Munich, as well as Dallas, New Orleans, Boston, and Philadelphia.

Tickets for the European leg of the tour go on presale starting Wednesday, March 19, with general sales beginning Friday, March 21. North American dates will follow, with presale opening Wednesday, March 26, and general sales launching Friday, March 28. More details are available at johnlegend.com.

Released in 2004, Get Lifted earned Legend eight Grammy nominations at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in 2006. He took home three wins: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Ordinary People,” Best R&B Album for Get Lifted, and Best New Artist. The album features some of his most iconic songs, including “Used to Love U,” “Ordinary People,” “Number One,” and “So High.”

To mark the milestone, Legend is also releasing Get Lifted (20th Anniversary), a special edition of the album featuring eight new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased studio performances recorded two decades ago. The deluxe edition includes collaborations with artists like Tems, Killer Mike & Lil Wayne, Simi, and Black Thought.

“Let’s celebrate 20 amazing years of Get Lifted together!” Legend wrote in his announcement. Fans can expect a mix of nostalgia and fresh takes on the music that helped define his career.
