NOTD at the Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver

NOTD kicked off The Digital Notes tour in Vancouver this Friday and it did not disappoint.

The opening act, Blusher, is a pop trio out of Australia who are a perfect blend of Y2K inspired, girly pop, electronic, dance music that turned everyone into a fan. Their choreography and complementary harmonies were reminiscent of the nostalgic girl groups we grew up with. They won over the Vancouver crowd when they performed their renditions of Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat.” These girls are ones to watch out for!

NOTD is proof that once again, the Swede’s make damn good music.

This electronic pop production duo have been releasing songs that have been on repeat in my library for years. The set started with a crowd favourite, “AM/PM” and included other hits like “I Wanna Know,” “So Close,” “Panic,” and “Been There Done That.”

This duo has such an incredible talent for creating melodies and hooks that just tickle your brain and always put you in a good mood. Additionally, the vocalists they work with always compliment each other so well on each and every song.

I suggest anyone reading this that hasn’t heard of NOTD before, definitely familiarize themselves with this group. You will not be disappointed!
