Live Review – P!nk Makes a Triumphant Stop in Paris, France for her Summer Carnival Tour

P!nk‘s Summer Carnival Tour made a triumphant stop at the Paris La Défense Arena on June 21st, 2023, and it was a night to remember for her fans in France. The multi-talented artist put on a spectacular show that combined electrifying performances, impressive stunts, heartfelt moments, and a carnival-like atmosphere, leaving the audience in awe.

The concert kicked off with an impressive Intro Montage that set the tone for the evening, featuring snippets of some of P!nk‘s iconic hits. The crowd was immediately pumped up as she literally dropped down, bungy jumping onto the stage with “Get the Party Started” which seamlessly transitioned into “Raise Your Glass.” These high-energy tracks had the entire arena on their feet, dancing and singing along. P!nk‘s vibrant stage presence, breathtaking aerial acrobatics and dynamic choreography made it clear that this was going to be a show to remember. She continued to impress with performances of “Who Knew”, “Just Like a Pill”, “Try”, and a dance remix of “What About Us.”

The transition into Act II was marked by a beautiful interlude, building anticipation for “Turbulence”. The instrumental snippet of “Nobody Knows” served as a touching interlude, leading into P!nk‘s stunning piano rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.” “Just Give Me a Reason” and “F**kin’ Perfect” showcased P!nk‘s incredible vocal range and emotional depth, while “Just Like Fire” and a nod to Pat Benatar‘s “Heartbreaker” added a rock-infused edge to the setlist.

Act III started with an acoustic performance of “Please Don’t Leave Me”, allowing P!nk, aka Alecia Moore, to connect with the audience on a more personal level. “Cover Me in Sunshine” performed with her daughter Willow Sage Hart, was a heartwarming moment, and “Kids in Love” had the crowd swaying in unison.

Act IV set the mood for a change in direction. P!nk‘s mesmerizing rendition of Sade’s “No Ordinary Love” left the audience captivated, and “Runaway” maintained the atmosphere of introspection. She then led into “Trustfall,” a powerful and inspirational anthem emphasized by the wonderful trampoline choreography of her dancers. P!nk then took a moment to introduce her incredible band and dancers before launching into “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” ending the main set on a high note.

P!nk returned to the stage for a thrilling encore, giving the audience one more chance to revel in her musical prowess. She ended the night with an awe-inspiring aerial stunt on “So What”. P!nk has been flying above the crowd during this song for a decades and it never gets old! Getting a glimpse of the singer up close in the air had the crowd roaring with excitement.
