Lake Street Dive at the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC – Gallery

On August 1, 2024, Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre was transformed into a jazz-pop night club by Lake Street Dive and supporting artist Katie Tupper.
Tupper, a rising Canadian star and neo-soul singer/songwriter, impressed with her voice and engaging personality, quickly earning herself more than a few new fans with her performance.

We first encountered Lake Street Dive during an appearance on The Colbert Report way back in 2014 (they’ve since made appearances on The Late Show) and we’ve stayed close during their 8 album jazz/pop/alternative journey and multiple visits to Vancouver. The entire band is extraordinary, and writing credits are regularly shared across the entire group, but the bright, shining light of the team is Rachael Price and her seemingly unending vocal talent. From the opening notes of “Good Together” to “Seats at the Bar,” it was clear that the band has lost none of their creativity, drive, or enthusiasm. Price’s powerful voice shone through on energetic tracks as she paced the stage, and focused the crowd directly on her as she reclined at the bar erected centre stage. It was Michael Buble meets Kylie Minogue, if that makes any kind of sense whatsoever, and we are here for it!

IMBERMIND Bring Album ‘Never Ending’ to Buenos Aires on their Argentina Tour 2026
During their Argentina Tour 2026, the band IMBERMIND made their debut in the country. The tour began in Mar del Plata and continued this weekend with their own show at the HiFi room of the ArtLab cultural space in Buenos Aires.
The group presented their debut album Never Ending, which features 11 songs and blends electronic music, pop, and cinematic elements. Edu, Luis, Nico, and Álvaro opened the show with “Understand” and continued with several tracks from the album, including “Never Ending,” “Godlike Man,” “Imbernation,” and “It Feels.”
The HiFi room at ArtLab allowed the audience to stand just a few steps away from the band, making their presence felt from the very first song. The venue’s high-fidelity sound system ensured that each track could be heard with all the nuances of the record, and the crowd followed every song through to the end.
To close out their time in Argentina, IMBERMIND will perform this Saturday, March 14, on the Perry’s Stage at Lollapalooza Argentina 2026, where they will wrap up their Argentina Tour 2026.

Avenoir Brings ‘Mirage Tour’ to the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver
Rising Canadian R&B artist Avenoir brought his Mirage Tour – Act One to Vancouver on March 12, playing an intimate show at the Hollywood Theatre. The evening opened with a set from Alberta-born singer-songwriter Jonah David, who warmed up the crowd with his 2-piece band before the headliner took the stage. David‘s performance was clearly a hit as fans asked for autograph as soon as his set ended.
Born in South Africa and raised in Edmonton, Avenoir has built serious momentum over the past year. His debut EP NOIRE earned a 2025 Juno nomination, and his music has racked up hundreds of millions of streams. The Vancouver stop was part of a short run of theatre shows meant to give fans a closer look at the fast-rising artist before a bigger year ahead.
The performance leaned into atmosphere. Avenoir kept movement minimal, often standing alone at center stage as his songs unfolded over sleek production, including great saxophone moments. His acoustics songs helped strengthen his connection with the audience. The production blended futuristic R&B with booming 808s and dramatic arrangements that gave several tracks a cinematic punch. His voice has a smoky tone that cuts through the heavy beats.
The show felt like a young artist still settling into the stage. The music is already there, and the confidence will likely follow.
