Stereophonics at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver

On April 2, Welsh rock band Stereophonics brought their signature rock sound to a sold-out Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, delivering a solid performance that reminded fans why they’ve been around for over two decades. Opening with “Vegas Two times,” they set the tone for a night filled with well-loved hits and newer tracks.

Kelly Jones’ vocals were as strong as ever, carrying the emotion of songs like “Maybe Tomorrow” and the energy of “Do You Feel My Love.” The crowd was especially into classics like “Nice Day,” singing along and soaking up the nostalgia. The mix of old and new songs kept the setlist interesting, appealing to longtime fans and newer listeners alike.

The band was tight and well-rehearsed, with Richard Jones’ basslines and Jamie Morrison’s drumming keeping everything steady, while Adam Zindani’s guitar added texture. The chemistry between them gave the performance a natural flow without feeling overly polished.

For the encore, the band slowed things down with “Hurry Up And Wait,” before closing the night with the crowd-pleasing “Dakota.” It was a strong finish to a show that didn’t rely on flashy gimmicks—just solid musicianship and songs that have stood the test of time. Vancouver fans left satisfied, reminded of what makes Stereophonics a dependable live act.

Stereophonics will finish their Americas tour on April 11 in Mexico City before heading back to Europe. More info on their website.
