Canadian blues-rock legend Colin James returned to Vancouver, BC, for a packed show at The Orpheum Theatre on March 1st as part of his Chasing the Sun Tour.

Ontario’s Terra Lightfoot opened the night, whose raw vocals and bluesy guitar riffs set the perfect tone for the evening. Her performance was both intimate and explosive, earning enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

Headlining the night to perform decades of hits, Colin James started the set off with a moody and intimate first song with “National Steel” and then quickly moved on to delivering one of his favourites, “Just Came Back”. It was a powerful set filled with soulful blues, masterful guitar work, and fan-favourite classics. His energy was infectious, captivating the audience from the moment he took the stage until the encore.

The night was a celebration of timeless blues, rock, and the magic of live music, proving once again why Colin James remains one of Canada’s most beloved musicians.
